Chris Bombardier: Climbing Higher
Chris Bombardier is the only person with a bleeding disorder – and one of a few hundred people in the history of mountaineering – to complete the Seven Summits, the world’s most demanding climbs. His grueling two-month ascent of Mt. Everest in Nepal, the highest mountain in the world, has made him a hero not just in the mountaineering community but in the bleeding disorders community worldwide. His goal was to raise awareness of the needs of people with bleeding disorders in the developing world and to support Save One Life, the international non-profit dedicated to the same mission.
Today, Chris is a family man, leads experiential outdoor adventure and educational trips for people with chronic medical conditions, serves as the Executive Director of Save One Life, and is pursuing a Masters’ Degree in global health.
Patrick James Lynch: Changing the World through Storytelling
Winner of multiple awards, Patrick James Lynch is founder and CEO of Believe Limited, a media production company dedicated to telling the stories of inspiring individuals overcoming health challenges, particularly those in the bleeding disorders community. Patrick and his film crew traveled to Nepal with Chris to chronicle his journey. They captured the physical, psychological, and emotional challenges he endured to reach his goal, and his will to persevere, in the inspiring documentary Bombardier Blood. Working both behind and in front of the camera, Patrick’s other film and content credits include numerous bleeding disorders programs.
